I saw this super cute card on the silhouette blog and just had to make it for a friend who is battling breast cancer. I used a pen to finish the banner, rather that print it. It turned out so cute. This week my granddaughter has wanted to make flowers. We found some awesome ones at Silhouette online store.  They are a little large; however,  they look great, and she is happy with them in a vase or her hair for school. We are working on some other ones and a vase we found. Hope to have them finished soon.  Hope you enjoyed looking at these and come again.

Today I am working on a scrapbook page from this summer.  The kids haven't has very many days in the pool, we have had a couple of mild weeks and the water hasn't had time to warm up. This is one of the good days. I have some other photos for the second page. These cuts are from the silhouette. I did them as a print and cut. The Good times label is from the Cricut Imagine. Today I am posting two cards with different styles. They are the same flower image but stamped and colored differently.   The first is a regular black ink and pencil colored. This one is softer and the color has a brushed quality.        The second is embossed with black powder with spectrum noir colored (PP3, PP5). This one is very bold and has a great shine; however, the color looks a little plastic. I just can’t get the hang of blending….no matter how hard I try.         The white backgrounds are both Cricut cuts from elegant edges, I welded a border to a triangle from storybook. Today I have made a scrapbook layout for the photos I took last night and the ones I will take today. I worked in Cricut craft room to make the header, if you would like the file just let me know. The fireworks are from stand and salute, the little boy is from A child's year and the font is songbird. Today I am having trouble with my imagine. I can't seam to get my machine to work with CCR. It will print the image but then it will push out the mat and not cut.  Very frustrating. I did get this image to print, along with the background paper. Hope you like this and come back soon.

Today I am getting ready for my Mother’s day with a spring strawberry plant for the Silhouette store.  This turned out so cute, it only to me 3 hours to put together, of course a lot of that time is spent inking all the edges. I think my daughter will like it in her kitchen. I thought about putting candy in the pods, but thought the grand kids would take it apart too soon for her to get a good use out of it. Here is my list of items used: The paper is from a Stamp n Up. Real red and old olive are the two primary colors. The silhouette item for this plant is 57287; I went on Jamie Lane web site, Bits of Paper, to get the assembly instructions. This has been a great weekend, my grandson stayed all the time with my husband and I.  He didn't even want to go home after his parents go back.  Great times. I had a little time to make a card for a sick friend, hope you like it.  I found this wonderful strip sticker with the fence and flowers. I added the chicken from the Country Life cartridge and punched some clouds. I have a wonderful garden this year and have been spending lots of my time in it this spring. The only problem is we are not getting enough rain, so I am watering.  Keeping the weeds out has proven to be a chore. I did have some time yesterday, because of a cold snap, and spent some time in my craft room.  Here is a lovely card I made. I used some lovely digital doted paper, and flower I got in the Silhouette store. This digital paper is wonderful...with the paper piercing and chalking of the flower edges. I cannot believe it has been 3 years since I started this blog. I don’t get a chance to post something every day, but I do love putting my creations out there for all to see. I used Teddy Bear Parade to get this super cute Bunny-Bear, that I put on a action wobble. I used pastel colors on the background and die cut paper.  I added some faux stitching at the top and bottom and a couple of die cut eggs. This turned out super cute and I just love this bear. Today, as is most days, I am working on cards.  I just sent off a batch to OWH and I need to get my stack ready to send out again. Next week will be spring break and I thought I would do a spring like card. I just love the Teddy bear parade cartridge and this little bear for St Patrick's day. I can’t believe it will be Valentine ’s Day next week. I have a few anniversaries this month also to make cards for.  I used my Cricut to make this wonderful bear from the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge. I embossed the hearts and designed the card from the MOJO sketch.   This turned out so cute. This is such a super cute digi design from Wee Stamps by Sylvia Zet. This stamp is called Rosetta.  I used color pencils to color the design and then added some gelly roll pen accents on the wings. I added some cute bling flowers to the prima one and then found a butterfly sticker. For the background I used a spellbinder die and cut it in foil.  I made this into an easel card and used another spellbinder die for the sentiment. Today I am working on a file I just purchased from the Silhouette online store and a MOJO sketch. The mother of my good friend is sick and I wanted to send her and encouraging word.  I am getting the hang of making print and cut files….it is totally awesome. My portrait cut all this delicate work with no problem. I noticed I am getting a little white around the edges I guess I need to find out how to correct this problem, other wise it looks great. Today I am working on coloring some new digi stamps I purchased from Wee Stamps, by Sylvia Zet.  These are super cute stamps and were easy to download and print.  I used a combination coloring pencils, Primacolor markers and glitter gel pens…I then added a spellbinder die,some flowers and crystals to make it pop. I have been working on a new scrapbook page layout today and I wanted to share it with you.  I purchased it on the silhouette website and cut it with my portrait, and chalked all the edges.  I think it make the designs really stand out, especially the popcorn.  I left out one baseball because I want to do some journaling.     It was fairly difficult, I think because I had to set it up to cut on 8.5 X 11…I know it will be easier next time. The file is called at the ball park by ppbn designs.    I think it turned out super cute for my grandsons photos. I am so behind on getting my scrapbook done.
