Happy Monday everyone.   I have been thinking about what I wanted to do for some of the challenges this week. I have Teddy Bear Parade; however, everyone else seems to be using it. I wanted to be different, although I will make a card for the grand-kids that has the bear on it. I made my card from the forever young and paper doll dress up cartridges.   All the paper is from DCWV and I pop dotted the hat and the shamrock up from the card.     Hope you have a wonderful week. Thanks for stopping by. I will be entering this in the following challenge: http://cardztv.blogspot.com/2013/02/ctv-stamps-dt-challenge-25-luck-of-irish.html http://craftspotbykimberly.blogspot.com/2013/02/monday-challenge-88-pop-it-up.html http://www.linkupforpink.com/2013/02/challenge-no-10.html

Today I am still working on getting my supply of cards back to a, have a card ready, level.   I sent 60 cards to Operation write home today, thanks to all the swaps I received at the SU regional meeting.   There were some nice fronts in there and I had to spend a day to put them on cards and then put the OWH labels on the back and stuff the envelope.   Sending to them is one of the main reasons I make cards. Today I have one that I made for several challenges.   Hope you like it; this one has several cuts from the new Cards cartridge currently for use, free, on the Cricut craft room site.   There are some nice cards on this one; however, you could make them yourself if you have the time.   I used SU paper and a new punch from recollections punch I picked up at Michaels last week. Hope you have a wonderful remainder of the week. Thanks for stopping by. I will be entering this in the following challenge: http://www.cardztv.blogspot.com/2013/02/exciting-news-at-cricut-car

Today I am working on getting my stock of birthday cards back up.   With mom being sick, before she passed, I didn’t work in my craft room very much.   Then right after she passed I didn’t feel like it.   I really need to get back to work.   I went to SU regionals on Saturday and the friend that took me tried to get me to sign up, I don’t think so, I love my Cricut too much. I like my SU stamps and the paper is awesome, but I don’t want to only use it.   There are just too many great things out there for scrap bookers and card makers. Back to the card I made. I made this with a garden theme for the challenge at pink by design.   I love magnolia stamps. I only have 4; but I use them often. Here is one that I colored with Prismacolor markers, added a few rolled flowers from the Flower Shoppe cartridge and some pearls.   I think it turned out good and will add it to my card box.   Thanks for stopping by have a wonderful week. I will be entering this in the following challe

Sweethearts is one of my most favorite cartridges and I love to use it on all kinds of crafts.   Last year I made my husband a wonder candy bouquet and put several of these cuts on sticks with the candy, it was so cute (see post   http://www.karencraftcreations.blogspot.com/search/label/valentines ).   This year I will be giving this card I made from the sweethearts cartridge.   I used a stamp from a Fiskars pack, a retired CM heart punch, some Bo Bunny paper I got last year and some bling.   I really like the way this turned out.   Thanks for stopping by.  I will be entering this in the following challenge: http://onestopcraftchallenge.blogspot.se/2013/02/challenge-215-love-is-in-air.html http://clearitoutchallenge.blogspot.com/2013/02/its-challenge-time.html http://2sisterschallengeblog.blogspot.com/2013/02/challenge-130-hearts.html http://cutiepiechallenge.blogspot.com/2013/02/midway-reminder-challenge-37-valentines.html http://pinandtack.blogspot.com/2013/02/

Today I am still working on valentines’ cards.   I made this one using a heart and circles from George and the words came from lyrical letters.   I really like the way it turned out. I think I will give this to my son.   He is always so helpful on the farm.   My husband had I can always count on him to help out whit the heavy lifting.   The paper is from Bo Bunny, I got it last year, and SU.   I added a few pearls to make it elegant.   Hope you like this one.   I had a lot of fun with the design.  I will be entering this in the following challenge: http://onestopcraftchallenge.blogspot.se/2013/02/challenge-214-anything-goes.html http://gofishchallenges.blogspot.com/2013/02/go-fish-challenge-34-i-love-you.html http://scrappymoms-stamps.blogspot.com/2013/02/terrific-tuesday-challenge-valentines.html http://clearitoutchallenge.blogspot.com/2013/02/its-challenge-time.html

Today I have been working on a cute spring card.  My daughter just graduated from nursing school and passed her final test. I am so proud of her and she already has a job, although she has already decided that she doesn't like working every weekend.  I told her "welcome to the working class".  She has been in school for so long that she has not had to work at a 12 hour job.  Although she has had to study and work hard at passing all the test. I used SU paper, the Imagine cart Lori's Garden, and a few Recollections flowers. I am going to enter this in the following challenges: http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/2013/02/spring-is-in-air.html http://houseofgilli.blogspot.ca/2013/01/challenge-49-anything-goes-with-pink.html http://www.pinkcricut.com/2013/02/link-tuesday-38/

Today I am working on my card fronts for the Stampin Up show that is coming up in Dallas.   I am very excited as this will be my first time to go.   My friend and demonstrator ask me to go with her, too cool.   Then she told me that everyone trades card fronts, I didn’t know that.   She said I should make about 100…..wow.   I have been trying to make about 4 of the same design and only use Stampin up paper and stamps, this is somewhat hard as my Cricuts are a big part of my card making. Thanks for stopping by.
