I made really super cards to go in my Operation Write Home stack, I am up to 60.   I made them using a 3-D sticker pack I got at Michaels last week. I have not had much time to do anything the last few weeks. We are trying to get the new house done. We have been over this morning putting up the hardy board. It got so hot outside, I looked at my phone and it is 100, we had to take a break for a while. Hope you like them. Have a safe and fun 4 th .

I made my father’s day cards today with my new Imagine.   It was so nice to not have to cut all the little pieces of paper in different colors. All I did was pick my design and then fill the different stages with color.   I wrote the inside on the computer.   My sons are always doing everything for everybody; I thought these fit them perfectly.  I used the Cuttlebug gears embossing folder on the second one along with a Tim Holtz die.   Here is a list of the Cartridges I used: Better Together for the colors Robots for the figures Hope you enjoy these as much as I do.   Have a wonderful day.

This weekend I had a chance to make a few cards for operation write home and use them for the Throwback Thursday challenge at my creative time, see the web link on the side bar. I only used one Cartridge this time Botanicals. The first card I also added a SU die cut for the butterflies and a little bling for their bodies. The second one I used a die cut for the flowers, with a little i-rock bling and the same SU die for the butterflies. Hope you enjoy these cards. Have a super Monday. I got my new Imagine this weekend…..can’t wait to see how it works and make a few projects.   More to come.

After weeks of working on the new house I got around to making a few cards today. Marks Birthday is in a few weeks and I needed to make time to get that done. I used a wooden stamp that I have had for a few years, got it at HL, and just love. It makes a nice manly card. The second card is using SU stamps, some spare parts corners and a little bling butterfly.  I colored the flowers using pencils. I like the way you can blend the color, makeing it darker or lighter with just going over the same area a little more. It makes for a softer color, rather than using markers, although I have a lot of Prismacolor and Bic pens as well. I really like the way these turned out.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

I inked all the edges and finished it off with a Hero Arts stamp. Carts used are Jasmine, for the corners, and Cindy Loo, for the flowers. Thanks for stopping by…..have a great weekend. Don’t forget to check out the new Cricut Blog, find the link on the left to Love my Cricut.

I am trying to fill my Operation Write home box with 50 cards. This will be my second batch to send, the first was 220.   Some of the ladies at Church had cards to add to the box, all of them were so wonderful.   Here are 2 more to add, this makes 25. These cards are made with the Florals Embellished cart.   First is the one on page 31 and the second is from page 65.   I made the SU papers as close to the colors in the book as I had in my stash. I also embossed the back paper of the first one and added some Spare Parts ribbon. Thanks for stopping by…..have a super day.

I received a few graduation announcements last week.   I made 2 congrats cards this weekend.   Blogger deleted my post on Friday, I’ll try and get that one back up this week. I used locker talk cart for the hat and Martha Stewart Elegant cake art for congrats. The black one was for a young man so I added a few i-rocks and a pre-made card background. The green was for a girl whose school colors are green and white. I used  SU paper and some hemp cord with a EK success punch. I was in Hobby Lobby yesterday and they had all there adhesives on sale for 40% off, needless to say I stocked up on zots and tape runner refills. I also picked up a few items that I am going to give away when I reach 10 followers.   Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoy these cards.

I was looking at my Cricut Magazine yesterday and decided to make the paper roses that I saw on page 34.   They turned out wonderful. I put them on a small box that I made for my daughter’s birthday present. I cut them out of white paper and then inked them with SU crushed curry.   I used an SU stamp, dot, dot, dot with soft suede, to accent the flower more. The leaves were linked with the soft suede as well. I then added a little zip dry and glitter to the edges. The paper used for the 3.5 square box was from K&G, one 12X12 sheet.   I used the reverse side for the top. The flower was super easy to make and turned our great looking.   Both flowers and leaves were cut from the Mothers Day cart. I used my hot glue gun to put the layers together, rather than zip dry, so I would have more time to line them up and stagger the peddles. Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoy this project.

I have really been busy with life here lately and have not had a chance to post anything this last week.   My Mom has been down in her back, she can’t get up very easy. I did get a chance to put my Easter photos of my son’s family outing in the scrap book.   The second page will be for my daughter, she sent me the photos I just have to get them printed.   I also made a card for my daughter-in-law.   Her birthday is the 7 th .   For the scrap gook page I used Celebrate with Flourish and Ashlyn’s Alphabet and my Gypsy to weld the Happy Easter together. For the card I used Cindy Loo for the flourish and a punch for the flower.   I punched out the white flower in 2 sizes then sprayed with spritz and formed them with an embossing tool.   I punched a hole in the center and added a very small brad.   The stamp is from a Fiskars set I picked up a HL. Hope you enjoyed my projects.   If you would ever like to have any of my files, just leave me a comment.   I will be happy to share.

Here a couple of cards I made for a challenge. One will be for my daughter and the other for my Mom. I used the Freshly Picked cart the flower pots on pages 32 and 33 were easy to make. I added a little stickles to the centers for accent and popdoted the flower post off the page. The MOM on the second card is from Storybook. The other sentiment is from SU with a Spellbinder flower as a background and a digital circle to top it off.  Now that I see the MOM on this paper I wish I had put some chalk around the edges, it would have made it stound out a little better. Thanks for stopping by, happy Easter, and happy crafting .

A simple Easter card for a challenge and to send to my Aunt. I used a digital design from freedigitalstamps.blogspot.com and colored it using my Stamp N Up and Prismacolor markers. I thought the little girl with the chick was super cute.  The sentiment is from the Celebrate with Flourish, and the paper ribbon is from Creative Memories.  The paper is just pieces from my stash. Thanks for stopping by today, hope you enjoyed my card.

Here is a look at my first popup card using my new file from MTC.   I think I will add something to the top of the card, but I am not sure what.   This will make a great card for graduation or even a birthday.   I used Create a Critter for both the Zebra, found on page 47 And the phrase, found on page 29. Hope you have a great Saturday, and thanks for stopping by. If you would like to have this file, just let me know and I will be happy to share.

This is the card I made for my 8 year old grandson to give his best friend. I used the Doodlecharms cart for all the die cuts. The card is a side step card cut at 6X9 with a side length of 2 inches. I think it turned out wonderful and my grandson will be pleased. Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a blessed day.

This is the card I made for the Fantabulous Cricut Spring Fling contest. The chick and egg came from the Celebrate with flourish cart and the font came from Gypsy font. The border is from a MS punch and I braded it with ribbon from my stash.   The chick and egg were cut at 3 inches and the font was cut a 1.16 inches and welded together. Hope you like that card, I had fun making it. Thanks for stopping by.

Today is my wonderful son's birthday. I am headed to his office with a cake and card. My husband and I have done this every year since he was in high school. He is turning 34 today, wow where did the time go.   I still remember him as the baby who stood up in his crib to open the door to his room, after I put him to bed at night.   Here is the card I made for my Super Son.  Sorry the photo is too dark, I guess the flash wasn't working.  Have a great day.

Wow my first blog post. I didn't think I would ever get to this.  I want to have a place where I can let others view my work and get inspired to do some of their own projects. I use a Cricut Expression and Sweetheart cartridge.  Hope this valentine I made for my husband gives you an idea for your sweetheart.
